5The Best Jewelry Polish!
By Derf Keebslak
I use simichrome to polish my gold rings & jewelry. WOW! The best, bar none. One tube will last you a decade, great stuff!!! Apply with soft cloth, then buff out. Rings & jewelry are like new, no kidding.

5Great on hardware
By S. Groff
We just bought an older home that had a lot of neat old brass hinges and door handles in need of some TLC. After a good scrubbing we used Simichrome to polish them up and they look fantastic, like they must have looked when they were installed 50 years ago. Simichrome gave all the hardware a beautiful shine and left no nasty film. It's been several months since we applied it and our hardware still looks great. We highly approve of this product and will definitely use it again.

5Ultimate polish for electric guitar parts except...
By The California Consumer
Originally used Simichrome back in the '70s for chrome and polished aluminum parts on motorcycles. This was the best stuff out there. Fast forward to 2010, I was looking for something to shine up the frets on my guitars. I had been using "0000" steel wool but found, Simichrome works so much better. You must use masking tape to protect the fretboard of course. Out of the tube it looks like pink toothpaste. I think has a mild corrosive of some sort that reacts to metal and gently takes the layers oxidation off. It also leaves a coating of some sort because the mirror-like shine lasts and new oxidation/tarnish is greatly inhibited. The area of the cotton rag used to apply and rub/polish, turns black immediately. Only a small amount is needed so one tube should last for years.

DO NOT USE this on any gold plated guitar parts like bridges, stop tail pieces, tuning machines, pickup covers, etc. Gold plating for guitars especially on Gibson's instruments is only a few microns thick. This polishing paste will definitely remove your gold plating, it hasn't happened to me but I can can imagine. For frets, chrome/nickel plated parts, stainless steel, or aluminum, it works great. I used Simichrome on Grover tuning machines that have been on a guitar since the mid-'70s, the parts now look like they just came out of the box. Overall, this is an amazing product.
