Forget Brasso, Buy This

I've used this on various brass instruments in all sorts of finishes and plates and it's unbeatable. Won't ruin lacquer, won't cause tarnish on obscure metal. What more do you need? Polishing cloths and a lot of them, that's what.

Tested successfully on raw brass (various specs and quality), rose brass, raw copper, raw nickel, nickel silver (nickel brass), silver, and chrome-nickel alloy. Leaves a slick protective surface of sorts but the duration of the polish depends on the metal. Chrome-nickel alloy will obviously maintain a polish way longer than low quality raw brass.

Good stuff!

I purchased this to polish silver candelabras and it works with ease and little effort on my part. Just rub it on and wipe it off polishing it as you go. My candelabras look fantastic! I even used it on a gold colored necklace that had tarnished and it worked! I highly recommend.

Good product for Paul Reed Smith nickel guitar parts.

Blue Magic is perfect for removing the tarnish from the nickel-silver plating on a Paul Reed Smith guitar. Of course if the surface is pitted, it can't fix that, but it did remove the tarnish very well leaving a thin protective coat. That thin coat of silicon makes cleaning simple with a microfiber cloth. I would not use it on gold plated parts.
