Antique Metal Polish to include Gold, Silver, Brass etc.

I could not find a metal polish that did harm fine metals so I bought Mothers Billet. I collect antique Pocket Watches from the late 1800's, the cases are made of Coin Silver, Sterling Silver, Gold or just plain Nickle compounds. A few coats of Mothers Billet and some rubbing with a fine cloth, the hundred year old watches look almost new. I know this is a car metal polish but it sure works on everything else.

Excellent Results

Though this Billet Polish is a tad on the pricey side, it does the job beautifully. While it can be used with good ol' elbow grease and nice results achieved, it is a lot easier if a foam buffing ball like a PowerBall is used to apply it.

This is an extremely fine abrasive polish so the piece you use it on should be clean and shiny or prepared by buffing with other compounds so that it already has some reflection to it.

A little of this stuff goes a long way so it does ease the cost aspect a bit. The results are outstanding if used on a piece of quality content aluminum.
