Fine glass polish is for mild spots you normally see on your windshield, sunroof and side glass. Spots that are visible but hard to feel with your fingernails. For water spots that normally occur on shower doors and that you can feel with your fingernails, Griot's Garage introduced glass polish. It has more polishing compounds for heavily calcified deposits. Use either one periodically and your wipers will last longer. Both products may be used by hand or with the random orbital polishing system and glass polishing pads. With the random orbital you'll be amazed how fast your glass gets clean. Useful for polishing windshield

I bought this after seeing several recommendations on using this to fix all the little micro-chips that a windshield accumulates over the years. The chips on my windshield got so bad that I was unable to see out of it when the sun hit it at just the right angle. I used the polish on it and noticed a difference immediately. Although it was unable to fix some of the larger chips (understandable, since it's a polish) I am still very satisfied with this product. It also works for removing spray paint overspray from glass or plastic.

This stuff is good for "cean windows."

Got a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor from the auction and I tried EVERYTHING to get the water spots off the glass. I saw the Griot's Garage 11063 Glass Polish - 8 oz and ordered it along with the Griot's Garage 10614 6" Glass Polishing Pad, (Set of 3). Fortunately, I also got the DRIVEN Extreme Duty Glass Cleaner, and using my Meguiar's Professional Dual Action Polisher at about a 1.5 setting a miracle happened! ALL the spots came off! I did use the Griot's polish afterwards, but probably didn't have to. . The glass is still really clean (no wax buildup ... yet) and the water runs right off, the wiper blades don't chatter anymore, and it literally looks cleaner from the inside out. Great for show door

This product combined with Griot's Garage 10665 3" Glass Polishing Pad and a rotary polisher works wonder on hard water deposit on a shower door.
