4Workewd great!
By Steven J. Turner
Worked great. Pretty easy on the pain, but provided great correction and polished to a super-glossy finish. Could still detect little mars and scratches here and there, so I probably needed to perform more passes, or used M105 or some scratchx. I actually did a pass, then, unsatisfied, used ultimate compound, then another pass with M205, that was magic.

5great as part of your polishing materials
By subquark
I polished both carbon steel blades and headlight covers with this compound (both 105 and 205) in conjunction with 1000 to 3000 grit sandpaper and Simichrome. The results were outstanding.

205 is finer than 105 and works very well as part of an overall polishing strategy.

4Use a foam applicator
By H. Taylor
If you're looking for a glass finish, this will do it. Just make sure you're using a foam applicator. If you try to use a cloth, you won't be able to polish it to a mirror shine, as it will still be too rough of a grit for that.

Your best bet, of course, is using a random orbital polisher.... but if you're ready to use one of those, you should already know that.
