Product Description

Griot's Garage machine polishes are different. They are created specifically for a random orbital machine (unlike other polishes that are created for straight drive machines) where the friction and temperature on the paint is almost non-existent. Griot's Garage polishing granules are engineered to break down under light pressure, getting smaller and smaller as you use the polish. Griot's Garage unique chemistry also does away with 50 percent of the old solvents, allowing you to clean up with water. They are designed to be safe and effective at removing swirl marks and scratches from all painted surfaces. Always start with Griot's Garage very mild polish, machine polish 3, and repeat as often as you want, until the scratch is gone. Apply with a Griot's Garage orange polishing pad. Follow up with the paint sealant, Carnauba wax stick or the fabulous Best of Show Wax for a truly flawless finish.

3Not what I expected
By JacobG
I purchased this polish after much research. I listened to Mr. Griots recommendations on what polish you should use for each type of paint blemishes you may have. In the video on youtube he recommends you use this for towel and spider web scratches which are usually light. On the bottle it clearly states how to use it and what steps to take after using it. I did use there random orbital machine but was disappointed with the results. (Not the company's fault) I should have just started with number 1 or 2 polish. My recommendation is you should buy the 3polish kit here on amazon to try each one to see what you need,

5Great stuff!

It sounds like user Jordan didn't use the right polishing pad and way too much product. I used this on 17-year-old airplane paint that sits out in the sun every day. I washed, dried, clay bar-ed, then used the #3 Polish on the orange Griot's pad. Use about 2 tsp. at the most to start off on a 2x2 section. When you have done it right, there is very little to wipe off. Don't use it out in the sun on a hot day, and don't do more than a 2x2 section before you wipe it off. Just a quick wipe with a soft cotton towel and the finish is so smooth and shiny, I didn't think it was possible. I followed it up with One-Step Sealant and it just gleams. The red & blue stripes are deep and glossy, all the oxidation gone. I used the Griot's orbital polisher which I really liked as well. I'm sold on their products for the results I just described, I'll wait and see how the finish holds up under the elements.

I started using Griot's Products about three years ago and I'm very pleased with all of them. Would recommend this to anyone.
