Product Description

Buff Magic is scientifically formulated with jeweler's rouge to be a metal polish, as well as a buffing and polishing cream. This unique formula changes as you use it. With each pass of a buffer or hand polishing the proprietary abrasives in this compound break down smaller and smaller. This effectively creates a compound that can work your finish from very dull to ultra glossy with just one product. Additionally, since you do not have to switch products, this will save you time and money. Buff Magic removes: oxidation, gel coat staining, surface rust, tarnish, Plexi-glass scratches, P800 and finer DA scratches. Buff Magic is perfect for: boats, cars, RV's, pots and pans, acrylic tubs and showers and much more... Buff Magic has been formulated to be user friendly whether buffing by machine or hand. It is also an ideal metal cleaner and polisher for steel, aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, gold and other precious metals. Buff Magic is a NMMA Innovation Award Winner. Instruct ions: HAND Application- apply sparingly with damp cloth over surface. Hand buff until residue appears. Then remove residue by buffing with a soft dry microfiber cloth. Repeat for severe oxidation. MACHINE Application- A 60 percentage Acrylic/40 percentage Twisted Wool pad is recommended for best results. Never use a pad that already has another chemical on it. Apply a thin coating over limited area with an applicator. Buff with light pressure at 1800 - 2500 RPM until residue disappears revealing a deep shine. Remove any excess residue with clean dry microfiber cloth. Usage Note: Less is more with Buff Magic. Since Buff Magic is made with high end materials and no fillers you will need to apply less than you may be used to with other products. Using to much product will cause you to overload the pad and have poor results. Start with a small amount of product you can always add more as needed. Once buffing is complete, seal and protect newly restored fiberglass with Pro Polish .

5The Art of being Buff
By Just Jeff
This is my third year restoring boats I purchase and I have used many other "combo" packages and nothing has achieved the expectations like this product. There is a secret to using this on fiberglass and a professional orbital ,(not random) polisher is the key element. Apply the Buff Magic with a small paint brush or similar type tool using small amounts as a little does go a long way. Use the orbital polisher on a clean dry surface set on the low setting working the Buff Magic into the surface and gradually increasing the speed of the buffer to high speed. Exercise caution if you are not familiar with a polisher they can be dangerous. Keep working your buffer in and around the areas of interest but do not hold in one place to long or you'll burn the fiberglass. You will see the shine. After doing aqbout four or five different areas it seems to get easier, I think it's because of the product on the applicator. I have used this on dark blue (25 footer), red (19 foot er), and white (36 footer)boats, all over 20 years old and all three produced a brilliant shine after going about it as described above. Use wool application pads as the foam pads break down from the fine grit. Find a nice wax to use afterward as this is a polish and not a protectant and more importantly take your time, this is a great product but it will not be rushed. Truth be known nothing is easy about polishing oxidized fiberglass but this product produces. I am telling you, you will not be disappointed and the time you invest in it is well worth the results.

5Important, PLEASE READ!!
By T. Thomas
Absolutely amazing product, but you must follow directions for use. The compound is "Amateur Proof" but not "Idiot Proof". To explain what I mean, it is very hard to make rookie mistakes like burning through the finish or leaving swirl marks even using a standard rotory buffer. The compound "Breaks Down" while using it to a finer and finer polish. If you apply to much pressure on the buffer, or use to high of a speed, the compound breaks down to a very fine grit very quickly. On this same note, I see other comments that it doesn't work well on extremely oxidized finishes, or it's not intended for this purpose. That is simply not true, it works very well on even the most stubborn stains and/or oxidation. The key is how you use it. You must use a variable speed buffer, and turn the speed down all the way on your initial application. By using a low speed, the compound doesn't break down as quickly and this in turn allows the compound to remain at it's "Full Strength" for a l onger period. Slow speed and no pressure on the buffer, just let the compound do the work. After you've gone over the surface on low speed, no pressure and moving slow, THEN put your buffer on high speed and polish it out. It may take a second or third application using the same proceedure, but only on extremely weathered finishes. I am very pleased with not only the results, but also not having to have several different compounds on hand to complete a job. This stuff is GREAT! Oh, use a strong soap like Dawn to hand wash your fleece buffer pad in warm water when you are done, and allow it to air dry.
